Park rules

Little's Lake is a private park that's open to the public. Help us keep it that way by following these rules.

Boating & fishing

Rowboats are free for adults 18 and over, first come, first served. Boats can only go out during caretaker hours: Wednesday–Sunday, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM, weather permitting.

Sign the waiver first. Boats can only be taken out after you sign a waiver with the caretaker.

  • Everyone in the boat must wear a life jacket.
  • Children must be with an adult.
  • Two-hour limit per boat.
  • Fishing requires a valid NYS fishing license and is catch and release only.
  • No alcohol.

Park & trails

The park and trails are open dawn to 7:00 PM. Please sign in at the kiosk along the driveway beside the Lodge before heading to the trail.

Stay on the marked trails. Take only pictures and leave only footprints!

  • No smoking or vaping
  • No alcohol
  • No swimming
  • No bicycles
  • No picking plants
  • No dogs off leash

The caretaker and board may restrict access to the park for anyone who breaks the rules.
