Thank you to all who volunteered!

Last weekend, volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help with trail maintenance, park clean-up, and the installation of a new invasive species boot brush station. We were joined by students from SUNY Albany’s Delta Sigma Pi fraternity and Women Excelling in Business, along with volunteers from Siena University, Board members and community members.

A resourceful note: the reusable grocery bags you see on the trail were used to transport wood chips across the lake by boat, helping to restore the back trail area.

The groups also made progress in protecting the ecosystem by removing invasive species, including Asian honeysuckle near the trailhead and outdoor classroom area.

We appreciate everyone who helped make this work day a success and for their commitment to caring for our park.
